Hi folks,
Firstly Can I have some general answers from owners or admins from B2?
Questions.......
1. Where is this data centre located?
2. Once I invest in a server & get operating, will you close me down as soon as you get the first complaint about the hub?
3. Can I pay by a more untraceable means?
4. Have any of your hubs been told to close yet?
5. How long you been offering this hub hosting?

We are located in New Jersey and in Seattle.
We haven't had any complaints about DC++ Services. Exactly what type of complaints are you concerned about getting? We have been doing dc++ hubs since 2003.
And yes, you can pay by Western Union.
Let me know if you have any other questions, thanks!

Thankyou for the reply.
Well of course running a DC hub it will be a fact that at some stage someone will sneak in a copyright protected MP3 (or two!) I'm not really worried about software programs as the majority of these are shareware that are encouraged to be shared anyway.
So, I guess what I'm asking is, The first time that the recording industry copyright watchdog gives you a call, is that the end of our hosting?
You know what I mean.
[EDIT: as I'm in Australia I am not knowledgeable about the "copyright" laws applicable in Canada. Can you point me to relevent state , territory or national laws regarding this?]

All I can tell you is we haven't received any reports regarding DC++ servers. If we do, depending how significant the problem is we will have to disable them.
Thanks,
